DESCRIPTION: If you like lobster, don't miss this jewel of Long Island. The lobster rolls are great but the lobster platter was outstanding. If you don't mind the beachy atmosphere, it's definitely worth a visit. It the perfect stop for lunch if you're day tripping on the South Fork.

Great Food!
DESCRIPTION: This past weekend was my first time eating here and the reviews written by everyone, including the NY Times, Newsday, Zagat, etc., are all true! The lobster roll was delicious, and the fried clam strips were so tasty and crunchy! I would highly recommend this to anyone heading out to Montauk. Don't expect a glamorous setting, it's more of a casual, fun place to eat!

DESCRIPTION: Always known as "Lunch" before it was called the Lobster Roll -been there since at least the mid 70's serving all of the same great basic seafood stuff in a fun, beachy atmosphere. - gets crowded during the summer (closed off season) - so you might have to wait or give your name and come back.

PIER 25a Is a Great Place for Seafood in Queens
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I went to Pier 25a in Bayside for our 23rd wedding anniversary, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. For appetizers we had the special seafood combination in an exquisite "special sauce" followed by a very tasty lobster bisque soup - mmm good. For the main course, we had a healthy and delicious portion of South African lobster tails. Pier 25A is a must visit!

One of the Southtown's Best Restaurants
DESCRIPTION: My wife and I have been enjoying Curley's for many years. The restaurant has a wonderful neighborhood feel. The small bar is very crowded on weekends but the atmosphere is fun and lively. I believe they do not take reservations, so be prepared to stand and have a cocktail (or two) while you wait for a table. The food is outstanding and we especially enjoy the seafood... as well as the specialty jerk-chicken. Curly's also has a tastefull wine list and serves a good assortment of beers, some from local breweries. Alas, the prices are very reasonable.

It's our secret
DESCRIPTION: In response to KSU's comment about Buffalo foodies ignoring Curly's: my guess is that the restaurant's location & low profile are the cause. I say, let the foodies continue to focus north of Ridge Road and keep this gem to ourselves! One gripe though: My friends & I are in our early twenties and were having a drink at the bar. When we asked to be seated at a table, the hostess seemed to hesitate. Young people like to eat out, too! If our age is a factor at Curly's, we'll take our disposable income elsewhere!
